Upton Park side chase White Hart Lane schemer.

West Ham are keen on bringing in Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby according to Football Direct News.

The 23 year old German international is currently on loan at Fulham and looks set to leave White Hart Lane on a permanent basis this summer.

The talented schemer has impressed in patches and has scored four goals and provided seven assists in a combined total of 30 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham and Fulham.

Schalke are also keen on re-signing Holtby this summer but a chance to secure regular football at Upton Park could tempt the attack minded midfielder and Sam Allardyce could certainly do with some added creativity to boost his side’s options in the final third.

Tottenham paid little more than £1m for Holtby and the chance to cash-in on a player who appears surplus to requirements is one that chairman Daniel Levy won’t pass up.
