Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is finding out that he is a wanted man across the Chanel as both Ligue 1 title contenders Paris Saint Germain and Monaco are both keen on taking him away from Stamford Bridge this summer, according to Football Direct News.

The veteran England star is out of contract at the end of the season and is being monitored by the Ligue 1 giants as they are said to be the only two willing to cough up the 33-year-old’s substantial wages.
Both sides have been hunting the market for new left-backs for severe months now, but it seems that neither club has found what they are looking for, and are set to pounce on the west London club to make sure that they bring Cole on board.
It now looks increasingly likely that Cole will not pen a new deal beyond June, and the French clubs believe that his experience and evergreen ability to bomb back and forth down the left wing will benefit them.
Spanish right-back Cesar Azpilicueta has stepped into Cole’s position and has performed superbly, which has damaged the Englishman’s hopes of ever returning to the first-team fold.
