Old Trafford side target young Sporting Lisbon winger.
Man United are reportedly tracking Sporting Lisbon winger Carlos Mane and have been told the youngster can be purchased for as little as £5m according to the Daily Star.
The 20 year old has been in fine form since breaking into the first team at the Estádio José Alvalade, form that has led to a Portuguese Under 21 national team call-up, and led to comparisons with former Man United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
David Moyes has sent scouts to monitor defensive midfielder William Carvalho on a number of occasions this term and it’s during this missions that Mane has developed into another Old Trafford target which could lead Man United to make a move for the Sporting Lisbon pair.
Moyes may well feel the need to freshen up his wide-attacking options with the likes of Nani, Ashley Young, Luis Antonio Valencia and loaned out youngster Wilfried Zaha all having been linked with summer exits.
Mane has scored four goals in 13 appearances for a Sporting Libson side that may well need to sell players to help balance the books having sold a number of star turns last summer.
