Blues want the midfield starlet at Stamford Bridge next season.
Chelsea have begun moves to sign brilliant Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana this summer by making contact with the Saints for the very first to inquire about the Englishman’s availability, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The newly capped England international has been attracting the attentions of a whole host of big-name clubs of late, although it looks like it is the west Londoners who are set to steal a march on their Premier League rivals in the race to land the player’s signature for next season.
However, according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, the Uefa Europa League holders have already been in touch with the south coast club to ask about signing the 25-year-old when the summer transfer window opens again for business on July 1.
The wide man is contracted to Stamford Bridge until June 2018 and so the player will not be cheap to buy, although with eight goals and seven assists in the Premier League in 31 matches, he would be worth it.
