Arsenal fans have once again turned on club-record signing Mesut Ozil after the German posted pictures on his Facebook wall of him and some of his Gunners team-mates out at party for his girlfriends’s birthday just hours after Saturday’s defeat to arch-rivals Chelsea, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The Germany international, who cost the north London club a whopping £42.5m to buy from La Liga giants Real Madrid on transfer deadline day back in September, did not feature against the Blues in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on the weekend after injuring his hamstring at Bayern Munich earlier this month.
And after the 6-o loss to Chelsea, Ozil, Nicklas Bendtner and Bacary Sagna all went out for the playmaker’s partner’s birthday, with Mandy Capristo then posting pictures of the night on her Instagram page with the message: “Unforgettable evening #thegracegatsby”.
However, when Ozil did the same on Facebook, he received a number of uncomplimentary messages from Arsenal fans, such as: “Nice to see someone is having fun after we lost 6 nil . I would recommend whoever you pay to manage your social media takes a break for a while ! And if you do it yourself you need a better advisor !!!”
