The Gunners have been thought to have kept an eye on the Polish international throughout the course of the season and are now primed to make their move for him over the summer.
And the 24-year-old, who featured for his country during their World Cup qualifier against England last year, has given the club encouragement to make a move for by insisting that he wants to play in the Premier League.
However, Arsenal will face some stiff competition to bring him on board as both Saint Etienne and Lyon are hoping to keep him in France, whilst Premier League rivals Liverpool have also been credited with an interest of their own.
Several clubs showed an interest last summer but Krychowiak decided to stay in Reims. However, with just one more year left on his contract Reims president Jean-Pierre Caillot will be tempted to cash in now.
And according to some reports in France Caillot has already told him that the club will not stand in his way if a suitable offer comes in for him.
