Man United midfielder Shinji Kagawa seems set to return to Borussia Dortmund after being given the ‘green light’ make a move back to the Westfalenstadion according to Football Direct News.
Old Trafford boss David Moyes is ready to sell the 25 year old Japanese international and a move back to the Bundesliga side which helped propel him to stardom could well suit all parties.
Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has seen a succession of stars leave in recent seasons and the return of a former favourite would certainly go down well with the club’s fan-base.
His side have fallen well off the Bundesliga pace and will see star striker Robert Lewandowski join domestic rivals Bayern Munich this summer.
They may also have a job on their hands trying to keep hold of the likes of Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan.
Kagawa had an average first campaign at Man United and has been used on a limited basis by David Moyes, starting just nine Premier League fixtures.
The Kobe born attacker excelled at Dortmund, helping the club to back to back domestic titles in his two seasons in Germany.
