Napoli could apparently be tempted by a possible player swap offer that would see Japanese international Shinji Kagawa moving to the Serie A side and playmaker Marek Hamsik going in the opposite direction according to Football Direct News.

The £25m rated Slovakian has reportedly grown frustrated with life under boss Rafa Benitez with the captain having at times been named on the bench by the Spanish boss.

The 26 year old is expected to leave the San Paolo this summer and a move to Man United may well tempt Hamsik after ten seasons in Italy.

Man United boss David Moyes is keen to strengthen his midfield and Hamsik could well provide an ideal support for his attack.

Hamsik has scored an impressive total of 76 goals in 295 appearances for Napoli.

One would imagine that Man United would have to offer a cash bonus on top of the offer of Kagawa, who is something of a bit part player at the Premier League club, with a number of sides said to be keeping track of the 25 year old.
