Valencia Keen On Underused Liverpool Midfielder

Mestalla side want Anfield starlet.

Check in to West Ham United vs Liverpool

Valencia are readying a move to lure Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto back to La Liga according to Football Direct News.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers spent £7m on the 21 year old last summer but the former Sevilla man has failed to gain a foothold in the first team set-up and could perhaps be set for an instant return to his native Spain.

This term Luis Alberto has yet to secure a single Premier League start and when called upon from the bench has made little headway.

Rodgers brought in Alberto with a view to what he can offer his Anfield side in the long-term and as such may not be ready to sanction an outright sale but could possibly be open to a loan move to the Mestalla, which could well suit all parties.

Another Spaniard who arrived last summer, Iago Aspas, may well be also considering his future at the Merseyside club with the 26 year old forward failing to net in 13 Premier League appearances this term.
