Man United are set for a busy summer in the transfer window with David Moyes set to make the most of a massive £200m transfer war-chest with the Daily Telegraph outlining the plans the Scottish boss has made to improve his Old Trafford squad.

After the current campaign has come to a close, and a potentially disastrous one that could well lead to no Champions League football for next term, Moyes will look to chop and change in a big way.

This source cites as many as eight players who could well leave the club and earmarks moves for four top quality additions, perhaps unsurprisingly the lion’s share of which appear to be with a view to improving the club’s brittle and sub-standard midfield.

Toni Kroos (Bayern Munich)

The Bayern Munich was industrious, if not spectacular, last night during the encounter between the two sides and is still very much a key target for the Premier League side.

The 24 year old’s contract demands did see him benched at one point this term though he has been welcomed back into the fold and may well be ready to adjust his demands for financial parity with the Allianz Arena side’s big earners.

Moyes would love to bring in the German international, who is comfortable on the ball, tough in the tackle and always ready to spring to life in the final third with a killer pass or a long range effort.
