The highly rated France international only has a contract at White Hart Lane that runs until the end of June and so the central defender will be available to pick up on a lucrative Bosman-style free transfer this summer.

And rumors in recent days have suggested that the Frenchman was ready to swap the Lane for the Emirates next season after Kaboul had reportedly informed close friends of his desire to make the controversial switch across the capital, much as Sol Campbell had also done back in 2011.

However, the 28-year-old has now been forced to take to social media to dampen down this speculation and assure the Tottenham faithful that he will not be following in Campbell’s footsteps this summer after all.

Kaboul is currently in his second spell at Spurs after initially turning out for the north London club in the 2007-08 campaign, before former head coach Harry Redknapp re-signed the defender from Portsmouth in January 2010 for £9.5m.
