La Liga side Valencia are set for new ownership with a group of Arab investors set to buy the Mestalla club and have approached Liverpool in pursuit of striker Luis Suarez according to Football Direct News.
The 27 year old forward has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 29 goals in 27 Premier League appearances, and is certainly not a player the Anfield side could consider selling.
His goals have helped Liverpool to mount a genuine Premier League title challenge and with Champions League all but guaranteed for next term there seems little reason for Suarez to consider leaving the Merseyside club.
Valencia have struggled financially for a number of years and fans of the club will be happy to see funds invested into their squad though they may want to direct their attentions to move realistic captures than former Ajax man Suarez.
Valencia currently sit in eighth in the La Liga table, some nine points off even a Europa League spot, and as such attracting big name additions could prove problematic.
