Man United are set for a busy summer of comings and goings with David Moyes ready to invest £87m in three new additions according to talkSPORT.

The Scottish boss is clearly in need of conducting something of a squad re-shuffle after a disastrous debut campaign in charge of the Old Trafford side and will start his summer spending spree with a £50m offer for Southampton duo Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw.

25 year old midfielder Lallana is having the best season of his career to date, scoring and providing assists with regularity, form that has helped him push into the England national team set-up and is likely to see him make it into Roy Hodgson’s 2014 World Cup finals squad.

Moyes will then look to 18 year old Shaw to fill the inevitable void that will be created when, as expected, Patrice Evra leaves Man United at the end of the season.

This source also claims Man United have a deal in place to sign Portuguese powerhouse William Carvalho with a £37m bid to trigger the Sporting Lisbon youngster’s contract clause.

It’s perhaps no surprise that Moyes would look to address his midfield as it’s certainly a ‘problem area’ at present with the likes of Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Shinji Kagawa and Micheal Carrick all playing for their Man United futures.
