PSG are set to launch a £50m bid for Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard according to the Sunday Express.

The Ligue 1 side have long been linked with an interest in the 23 year old Belgian and comments made by the Blues star will certainly have given the Parc des Princes club hope of landing the talented youngster.

Hazard has been quoted as stating that a decision as to whether he’d leave Stamford Bridge for a move to the French capital could well be made by his wife, comments that will not have gone down well with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

The former Lille man has been by some distance Chelsea’s most effective attacking weapon with Hazard being the West London club’s leading goal-scorer and leading assist-maker and his understanding with the likes of Oscar and Willian have helped Mourinho cope, to an extent, with the fact that he doesn’t possess a prolific striker to lead his attack.

A move to PSG may well tempt Hazard though Chelsea have no financial reason to consider such a deal and will no doubt fight tooth and nail to keep hold of the player they purchase in a £32m deal back in the summer of 2012.
