Arsenal Injury News: Gunners Have Three Doubts For West Ham But Key Man Could Return

Arsenal have a long injury list to face West Ham United in the Premier League on Tuesday, with Arsene Wenger giving a squad update at his morning press conference.

Abou Diaby, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Ryo Miyaichi and Serge Gnabry remain long term absences, while there are doubts over Nacho Monreal, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski.

There is positive news in that Laurent Koscielny could return to the Gunners line-up in place of Thomas Vermaelen and Kieran Gibbs showed no signs of an adverse reaction upon returning to the team against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Given how the Latics targeted Vermaelen and Monreal on the left side of the Arsenal defence, reuniting the first choice back four would be a major boost for Arsene Wenger.

Tomas Rosicky could come back into the team too, while there was also good news on the progress of Jack Wilshere.

The England midfielder broke his foot on international duty against Denmark last month, and has started jogging again.

Wenger feels confident that Wilshere will play again before the end of the campaign.
