Borussia Dortmund head coach Jurgen Klopp has emerged at the favourite to take over from under-pressure FC Barcelona boss Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino at Camp Nou next season, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The Argentinian is expected to be relieved of his managerial duties in Catalonia at the end of this summer campaign, despite the fact that Martino only took over at Barca at the beginning of this season after previous boss Tito Villanova stepped down from his role to continue his treatment for cancer last summer.

H0wever, despite making a record-breaking start to life with the La Liga champions, things have started to fall apart at Barcelona of late, with the Spanish giants being knocked out of the Uefa Champions League by rivals Atletico Madrid at the quarter-final stage last week.

Meanwhile, on Saturday Barcelona were surprisingly beaten by struggling Granada to slip down to third in the table, four points off leaders Atleti with now just five games of the campaign left to play.

And as a result, reports in Spain on Monday say that the club are lining up a summer move for highly rated Dortmund boss Klopp.
