Tottenham are reportedly readying a move to offer Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o a deal when his Blues contract expires this summer according to Football Direct News.

The 33 year old Cameroon international has been a moderate success at Stamford Bridge and may well not be offered a new deal by Blues boss Jose Mourinho and as such the former Barcelona man will be considering offers at the end of the current campaign and may be tempted to remain in the English top tier.
White Hart Lane chairman saw upwards of £50m effectively wasted on flopped talents Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado last summer and may well feel the prospect of bringing in Eto’o as a cheaper short term option to his club’s striking crisis.
Tottenham have managed just 48 Premier League goals this term, less than any other side in the top eight, and Eto’o could well help boost the North London side’s attack.
Eto’o has netted 11 goals in all competitions this term.
