Borussia Dortmund Forward Marco Reus ‘Still Wants To Join Manchester United,’ Claims Mario Gotze

Premier League champions Manchester United have been handed a huge boost after it was revealed that coveted Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus wants to move to Old Trafford at the end of the campaign, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The Red Devils have reportedly been keeping close tabs on the highly rated Germany international all campaign long, with new head coach David Moyes known to be a huge fan of the blond-haired wide man.

In fact, the Scot has even been spotted in the crowd at the Ruhr Valley on several occasions already so far this season running his eye over the 24-year-old, who is currently contracted to the Bundesliga outfit until June 2017.

However, Moyes and United will now have been given a huge boost in their efforts to lure the German to the Theatre of Dreams next season after the player’s former Dortmund team-mate and Germany international colleague Mario Gotze revealed that Reus has always had his heart set on his dream move to the north west.

“When I was at Borussia, Marco wanted a move to Manchester United,” said Gotze. “This hasn’t changed.”

Reus has so far managed to register an impressive 21 goals and 20 assists in total in 42 matches in all competitions for both club and country so far in this campaign.
