The Spaniard, who only joined the club last summer from Celta Vigo, has struggled to force his way into the starting XI this season as the form of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez have kept him on the sidelines.
Has has made just 13 appearances for Brendan Rodgers this term and has failed to find the net once, and though his representatives admitted that he would like to play more in the future they have waved away any talk of him making a switch at the end of the season.
“There is no possibility of Iago returning to Spain or going anywhere else,” Rodriguez Baster said.
“Iago has a four-year contract with Liverpool and is very happy to be with the Reds, apart from the fact that he would obviously like to play more.
“But he is happy with Rodgers and he is not thinking about moving. I’ve never talked to any Italian club, Iago Aspas is fine at Liverpool and happy that the team is having a great season.”
