The Argentinian starlet has been dubbed the new Sergio Aguero back in his homeland due to his likeness to the current Manchester City forward.

And after what has been a hugely impressive debut campaign in front of goal for his club side in Argentina, many of the Continent’s biggest-name sides have been lining up to try to lure Correa to Europe for next season.

However, it now appears as though it is Atleti who have beaten off stiff competition from the likes of La Liga rivals and champions FC Barcelona, as well as mega-rich Premier League outfit Manchester City, to land the 19-year-old when the summer transfer window does finally reopen for business once again at the start of July.

So far in this campaign, the forward has managed to register an impressive five goals and nine assists in total in his 35 matches in all competitions for San Lorenzo, including four strikes and three assists in his 19 league outings for his employers.
