Scot is still set to be sacked at some point this week.

The one-time centre back was working an an analyst on the Red Devils’ Premier League trip to take on rivals Everton in the Premier League at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

However, after watching his ex-side go down 2-0 to the Merseyside giants – the club’s 11th loss in the Premier League so far in this campaign – May was asked for his views on the current situation at Old Trafford.

And when May, who won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Uefa Champions League during his time at the Theatre of Dreams, replied by claiming that Moyes “was out of his depth” at United, he was quickly hushed by the presenter, who asked the former United player to instead concentrate on some more positive aspects to Moyes’s Old Trafford career.

Speculation on Monday, though, has been rife that Moyes is set to be given his marching orders by the United board.
