White Hart Lane side look to bring in former AC Milan manager.
Tottenham are reportedly lining up a move to bring in Massimiliano Allegri to replace Tim Sherwood as manager of the White Hart Lane side with Corrieredellosport claiming two Italian internationals could join the former AC Milan boss at the north London club.
The Italian source believes that experienced forward Alessandro Marti and defender Davide Astori could be set to move to Tottenham as part of a significant re-shuffle.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy may well deem Tim Sherwood’s inability to secure a top four finish as reason enough to look for a new manager and there is no doubting Allegri’s pedigree.
The 46 year old impressed at Cagliari before taking over at AC Milan in 2010, helping the Rossoneri to a Serie A title in his first season in charge.
Allegri was sacked by AC Milan in January and could well be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
