PSG ace now wanted by Serie A leaders.
Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea are now facing a battle to sign Paris Saint Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot after it emerged that Serie A giants Juventus have now entered the race to land his signature, according to talkSPORT.
The two English sides have been keeping tabs on the 19-year-old midfielder throughout the season as he has not been able to establish himself as a regular in Laurent Blanc’s starting XI so far.
However, it is now believed that Juventus are hot on his trail as Antonio Conte is a big fan of his, and have made him a transfer priority this summer despite PSG’s apparent reluctance to sell.
Rabiot is still highly regarded in the French capital, though he has not been able to break ahead of a central midfield pack including Yohan Cabaye, Thiago Motta, Blaise Matuidi and Marco Verratti all leading the charge as the more established senior players.
But he has so far held off on signing a contract extension with the club, as his current deal expires in the summer of 2015, and the news will come as a boost for all interested parties.
Chelsea have sought to lower the average age of their side in recent seasons and are keen on the France Under-21 international, while Arsene Wenger is also a fan of his compatriot.
