Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been promised significant funds to use in the summer transfer window and the north London club are ready to make their interest in three top targets known just as soon as they secure a top four finish.

CaughtOffside understands that the Gunners have already entered into negotiations in relation to two of their proposed additions whilst their interest in a third is set to be registered.

Wenger is ready to stump up the requisite funds to meet Schalke’s valuation of young German international Julian Draxler having failed to land the 20 year old in January.

Arsenal will launch a £37m bid for Draxler and will hope to secure a deal to bring in the attack minded midfielder before the 2014 World Cup finals get underway, with the Bundesliga starlet likely to feature in Joachim Low’s squad.

Arsene Wenger will seek to make room for a fresh midfield addition with veteran Mikel Arteta and injury prone Frenchman Abou Diaby set to made available for permanent Emirates Stadium exits.

Draxler’s full recovery from an ankle injury has encouraged Arsenal to make a fresh move for arguably one of the brightest young talents in Europe. The locally born Schalke man has represented the Ruhr valley side since the age of eight but is said to be keen on a move to join Arsenal.

Wenger will set about strengthening his attack with a £16m bid for Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Morata, an offer they are confident will persuade the Bernabeu side to sell the Spanish Under 21 international.

First team chances have come few and far between for the forward, who has made just one La Liga start this term, and with Carlo Ancelotti lining up a number of big money moves there is every chance the Spanish giants will look to cash in on squad members to help balance the books.

Arsenal have scouted Morata on a number of occasions and as with Draxler the Premier League side have already opened talks with Real Madrid and were given the impression that for the right sum they would accept the exit of a player with undoubted talent.

Despite just the one start in domestic league action Morata has scored half a dozen La Liga goals.

Wenger will look then to replace Bacary Sagna with Toulouse defender Serge Aurier as Arsenal’s first choice for the job and is ready to make a £10m move for the 21 year old.

Arsenal will look to tie up the deal before the 2014 World Cup finals get underway with Aurier likely to be a key performer in the Ivory Coast side.

Such a move may well lead Carl Jenkinson to consider his future at Arsenal as he is understood to be hopeful of succeeding Sagna in the right-back berth.

The budget for such signings is contingent on Arsenal securing a top four finish and with three games to play Wenger’s side sit one point clear of Everton though Roberto Martinez’s side face a tougher run in with an away fixture at Southampton followed by a home encounter with title chasing Man City before finishing the campaigning with a trip to the KC Stadium to take on Hull City.

Arsenal take on Newcastle United and West Brom at home before ending their season with an away fixture against Norwich City.
