Cash strapped Primeira Liga side Sporting Lisbon have reportedly offered the services of Spanish international winger Diego Capel to both Sunderland and Newcastle United according to TuttoMercato.

The former Sevilla man is available for just £4m, which is something of a bargain price for a player of Capel’s potential and experience.
The 26 year old is into his third season in Portugal and has been a regular in the Sporting Lisbon eleven this term as they look set to secure a very impressive second placed finish.
Capel is more than capable of making an impact in the Premier League and could well be tempted by a fresh challenge.
Sporting Lisbon conducted something of a clear-out last summer to help balance the books with the likes of Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Tiago Ilori and Bruma among those who left the Estádio José Alvalade but it appears that more departures are needed to help balance the books.
