Los Blancos entertain the Bundesliga champions in the Spanish capital looking to reach the final of Europe’s premier club competition in Lisbon next month.

However, Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is still said to be sweating on the fitness of his two most important attacking players, with the Wales international currently suffering from flu-like symptoms that are threatening the wide man’s participation against the Bavarians.

And if Bale does not recover in time to take his place up front against Bayerm, it will come as a huge blow to Madrid, especially after the winger scored such a memorable goal to help beat arch-rivals FC Barcelona in last week’s Copa del Rey final at the Mestalla.

Meanwhile, Portuguese forward Ronaldo is set to undergo a late fitness test on his hamstring injury to ascertain whether he can feature against Bayern.
