Spurs and Anderlecht are reportedly keen on OH Leuven defender Axel Frix.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in taking a closer look at Belgian teenager Axel Frix, according to talkSPORT.

The 16-year-old left-back is currently contracted to OH Leuven in his homeland.

Spurs have reportedly offered a trial to Frix, while Anderlecht are also said to be keen on the youngster.

Danny Rose and Zeki Fryers are the only first-team left-backs that Tottenham have had at their disposal this season, but Benoit Assou-Ekotto is due to return from his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers in the summer.

During his brief spell as Tottenham boss, Tim Sherwood (pictured) has shown that he is willing to give young players a chance in his senior side, promoting the likes of Harry Kane, Nabil Bentaleb and Milos Veljkovic from the youth setup.
