The Brazil international had a very public falling out with Tottenham head coach Tim Sherwood at the weekend after the latter excluded Sandro from the club’s first-team squad for Saturday’s Premier League encounter with London rivals Fulham at White Hart Lane.

And after the home side had beaten the Cottagers 3-1, Sherwood revealed that Sandro was not considered for the contest with the west Londoners because he was not deemed good enough at that point, a remark that the resulted in the player taking to social media to confirm to his fans that he was not injured and was available for selection.

However, when speaking to Brazilian publication Lancenet, the25-year-old has now caused further controversy by refusing to rule out the possibility of moving to the Emirates at some point this summer, a rumour that has been gathering a fair bit of pace in recent weeks.

“I’m happy here at Tottenham. If the rival supporters want me to go to their team, I think I’m doing a good job and being recognised,” said Sandro.
