Arsenal are said to be looking to register their interest in Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger earmarking a summer move for the Belgian international.
CaughtOffside understands that the north London club are willing to offer as much as £28m for the 20 year old, who doesn’t appear to be part of Jose Mourinho’s Stamford Bridge plans.

Mourinho has already proven with the sale of Juan Mata to Man United that he is not averse to selling his players to Premier League rivals and the chance to cash in on Lukaku will prove tempting as he looks to re-shuffle his Blues attack.
Lukaku bagged 17 Premier League goals during his spell at West Brom last season and has netted 13 in 26 top tier starts at Everton this season, more than proving he is capable of scoring regularly at the highest level.
Wenger is looking to strengthen his attack and wants to sign a striker who can not only offer support for overworked Frenchman Olivier Giroud but perhaps even force the former Montpellier man out of his starting eleven.
With Lukas Podolski blowing hot and cold in his second season at the Emirates Stadium and Theo Walcott being a long term fitness doubt there is very good reason to bring in another forward to the club and Arsene Wenger has been promised a significant transfer war-chest that means Arsenal are capable of luring top talents when the transfer window re-opens.
Wenger has seen at first hand what the powerful forward is capable of with Lukaku netting in two fixtures against Arsenal this season.
