‘If You Know Him To Be A Cheat, Unfaithful And A Liar, How Do You Trust The Man?’ Says Ryan Giggs’ Dad

Wide man won his first match in charge of the club against Norwich on the weekend.

The father of interim Manchester United head coach Ryan Giggs has claimed that his son should not be appointed as the next permanent manager of the Premier League champions as the Red Devils players would not be able to trust the Welshman, according to reports in the Sun.

The United legend was put in temporary charge of the Premier League giants last week following the sudden sacking of previous boss David Moyes just 10 months into a six-year deal at Old Trafford.

And Giggs got his managerial reign at the Theatre of Dreams off to an impressive start on Saturday afternoon as United thrashed struggling Norwich City 4-0 at home in the Premier League, a result that led immediately to calls for the winger to be given the job on a permanent basis at the end of the campaign.

However, the player’s dad has now spoken out publicly against his son getting the role on the basis that none of the United players would ever be able to put their trust in Giggs after he allegedly had an affair with his brother’s wife, resulting in her getting pregnant.

“To be a manager you have to have trust,” said Danny Wilson, 58, who used to play rugby league professionally.

“I don’t see how the players can trust him after what he did to his brother. You judge a man by his actions. If you know him to be a cheat, unfaithful and a liar, how do you trust the man?

“I wouldn’t trust him to run a bath — let alone Manchester United.”
