Tottenham are ready to offer sacked Man United boss David Moyes an instant return to management with the north London club ready to appoint the Scot as their new manager according to TuttoMercato.

The 51 year old manager was axed after ten horrific months in charge at Old Trafford but may not be out of work for long as White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy apparently sees the experienced boss as preferable to current head coach Tim Sherwood.
It appears that Sherwood may well suffer an early axing of his own after failing to secure a top four finish, which would be incredibly harsh on the former Tottenham midfielder.
Sherwood took over from Andre Villas-Boas last December and has collected 12 wins and three draws in his 20 Premier League games in charge.
