The 43 year old has proven a massive success since taking over at the Amsterdam Arena in December 2010, helping the Dutch giants to four straight Eredivisie titles and the former Barcelona defender has admitted that he is open to listening to what the north London club have to offer, stating;

‘Spurs have made an approach. After the last league game I’ll think about it. I’ll talk to them and listen what they have to say,’ he revealed to Dutch broadcaster NOS.

‘I would like to add something to a club like Brendan Rodgers did at Liverpool.’

Tim Sherwood was only appointed as Tottenham boss last December and was handed an 18 month deal but seems destined to not last much more than six months in the post, which is perhaps a tad harsh given he has secured ten wins from the 17 Premier League games he has taken charge of.
