Tello is currently behind the likes of Neymar, Pedro Rodriguez and Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order to support Lionel Messi in the Barcelona attack and has made just two La Liga starts this term.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring in able attacking option to offer Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge support up front and Tello is certainly a very proficient performer, who when called upon can certainly make an impact.
Despite making just 26 starts for Barcelona Tello has still managed to rack up 20 goals for the Catalan giants.
Rodgers is unlikely to seek to make Liverpool’s temporary capture of Chelsea winger Victor Moses a permanent one, hence the additional need for options in the final third.
