Steven Gerrard’s loss of footing during Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday has led to the creation of a mock advert for a fake injury compensation firm.
The 72-second video, which was produced by 442oons, shows a cartoon recreation of Gerrard’s slip that allowed Demba Ba in on goal to score the opener in the Blues’ win at Anfield.
The joke ad asks: “Have you had a slip or fall in the workplace?”
Chelsea captain John Terry is also teased in the video for his penalty miss in the 2008 Champions League final, while Jose Mourinho’s infamous metaphorical bus comes to life and ploughs several Liverpool players into the ground.
