Barcelona are looking to tempt Liverpool into selling defender Daniel Agger and are willing to offer Anfield target Cristian Tello in part exchange for the Dane according to Football Direct News.

The Nou Camp side could certainly do with some fresh defensive additions and Agger may well be the man for the job but the offer of Tello on a loan deal is perhaps not enough to convince Brendan Rodgers to accept the departure of a crucial member of his squad.
Tello has barely had a look-in at Barcelona this season with Neymar, Pedro Rodriguez and Alexis Sanchez all ahead of the 22 year old in the pecking order to support Lionel Messi in the Catalan club’s attack and a move to Liverpool could offer the Spanish international the chance to secure regular first team football.
Agger has been a little hit and miss this term and has started just 15 Premier League fixtures this season and didn’t make Liverpool’s starting eleven for recent key encounters with Chelsea and Man City.
Currently Barcelona often resort to using Javier Mascherano as a makeshift centre-back, such are the shortage of options available to boss Gerardo Martino.
