Mourinho is keen to put his stamp on the Stamford Bridge squad he inherited from Rafa Benitez last summer and with a number of players linked with moves to join the west London club it appears that the Portuguese manager has outlined who he is willing to sell in order to accommodate new additions.

Brazilian international David Luiz will be made available with Barcelona said to be keen on the 26 year old fan favourite.

Midfield pair Ramires and John Obi Mikel are also said to be exit bound whilst Samuel Eto’o will not be offered a new contract when his current contract expires this summer.

Fernando Torres will also be on his way and one wonders just how much of the £50m originally invested in the Spaniard Chelsea will be able to recoup.

The futures of loaned out Belgians Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois, currently at Everton and Atletico Madrid respectively, seem unclear and it’s entirely plausible that Mourinho would seek to cash in on the duo to help finance what promises to be a significant summer spending spree which looks likely to include the capture of Brazilian born Spanish international Diego Costa.
