Real Madrid will look to take advantage of an apparent disagreement between Eden Hazard and his Blues boss Jose Mourinho by making an offer for the Chelsea man according to Football Direct News.

The 23 year old Belgian criticised Chelsea’s tactics following their recent defeat to Atletico Madrid and Mourinho in turn questioned Hazard’s desire and defensive abilities. This has led to growing speculation that the Stamford Bridge star could be on his way out with a host of sides taking a keen interest.

Real Madrid will look to land Hazard by launching a bid that would include a large cash sum and young centre-back Raphael Varane.

Mourinho is a big admirer of the 21 year old French international, who has had little chance to impress at the Bernabeu under Carlo Ancelotti.

Varane has made just ten La Liga starts this term and could be considering his options though Chelsea’s need for a new defensive option is not that great, especially given they signed Saint-Etienne man Kurt Zouma in January and can also call upon Gary Cahill, John Terry, David Luiz and Branislav Ivanovic to fill roles in the central defensive area.

Hazard has been Chelsea’s most effective attacking weapon this term, being the club’s top goal-scorer and leading assist maker, scoring 14 goals in Premier League action alone.
