Chelsea are preparing to mount bids for two new strikers as Jose Mourinho looks to conduct a much needed re-shuffling of his Blues attack according to the Daily Express.

Time and again Mourinho has seen his strikers fail to deliver with Samuel Eto’o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba scoring just 18 of Chelsea’s 69 Premier League goals this term.

All three of those options could be set for Stamford Bridge exits and Mourinho may elect to permanent sell loaned out forward Romelu Lukaku.

Mourinho is ready to trigger Diego Costa’s £32m release clause and the Atletico Madrid man has proven what he is capable of, netting his 36th goal of the season against Chelsea in their recent Champions League semi-final clash.

The Portuguese boss is also looking to bring in £25m rated Bayern Munich man Mario Mandzukic, who’s first team chances are set to be limited next term with Pep Guardiola opting to bring in Borussia Dortmund goal machine Robert Lewandowski.

Mandzukic has been a prolific goal-scorer since moving to the Allianz Arena, netting 48 goals in 87 appearances since leaving Wolfsburg for Bavaria, but seemingly Guardiola feels Pole Lewandowski a more viable option to lead his attack.
