Arsenal Misfit Keen On Bundesliga Switch

Emirates Stadium flop hoping someone will offer him a contract this summer.

Check in to Norwich City vs Arsenal

Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner hopes to secure a move to the Bundesliga when his Gunners contract expires this summer.

The Daily Express reports that the 26 year old has ‘every intention’ to leave the Emirates Stadium, which is fortunately likely to be a similar mindset to that of everyone connected with the north London club.

Indeed the fact that Bendtner is even still in the Arsenal first team set-up is pretty much an indictment of just how little Arsene Wenger was willing to invest in his strike-force.

Injuries to both Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski have even, on occasion, led to Bendtner seeing first team action and the giant forward has even managed to score two Premier League goals, comically injuring himself when netting the second of those in a home win over Cardiff City.

Having spent time at Juventus during a particularly confusing loan spell Bendtner is open to a move to Serie A but feels a transfer to Germany would better suit him.

“I like Italy a lot, but the German league also looks exciting,” Bendtner said.

“Bayern are strongly in command, but they can be challenged.

“I do not have a particular preference, because all I want is a place where I get regular match practice and can be happy.”

Good luck with that Germany.
