Serie A giants AC Milan are keen to turn Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt’s current six-month loan spell at San Siro into a permanent move next season, but only if the Championship club reduce their asking price for the player, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The brilliant, but inconsistent, Morocco international only moved to the Rossoneri on a short-term deal in the January transfer window, however, in the intervening four months in Italy Taarabt has really managed to catch Milan’s eye with a number of outstanding displays for the struggling club.

And now as a result it is understood that Milan are wanting to keep the 24-year-old beyond the summer, however, only if the west London club are prepared to lower their valuation of Taarabt, with QPR currently said to be asking for a transfer fee of £6.5m, whereas Milan are believed to only be willing to offer as much as £4m for the attacking midfielder.

In total so far since the turn of the year, Taarabt has managed to record four goals and two assists in his 12 Serie A outings for his new team.
