In-demand Southampton left-back Luke Shaw is set to have showdown talks about his future at St Mary’s with the south-coast club next week after the Saints have played their final Premier League match of the season this weekend, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The newly capped England international, who is all set to be named on Monday in Three Lions head coach Roy Hodgson’s 23-man squad for the World Cup in Brazil this summer, is currently one of the hottest young properties in the Premier League.
And with both champions Manchester United and Chelsea both known to be on the look out for a new left-sided full back for next season, Shaw and his agent are now due to sit down with Southampton on Monday after the club take on United at St Mary’s in their last league encounter of the campaign the previous day, in order to ascertain whether Shaw will be allowed to leave the south coast when the summer transfer window reopens for business.
