The 17-year-old wing ace had previously been linked with a move to the Gunners, who had wanted to add him to their youth ranks.

However, they now look to have missed out on sealing his signature as the player revealed that he is set to continue his development in Italy by signing with Udinese.

Jaadi is currently on the books of Belgian giants Anderlecht, where he has been tipped for a bright future after impressing in the UEFA Youth League. Turning out five times, and providing two assists, during the tournament, a number of top European sides had been forced to sit up and take notice thanks to his exciting performances.

Jaadi also played for Morocco in the Under-17 World Cup last year, becoming the subject of a number of scouting trips.

It is understood that though he was flattered by Arsenal’s interest, he believed that the best route for his fledgling career lay in Italy.
