Lewis Holtby gave the fans at White Heart Lane an extra reason to cheer during Ledley King’s testimonial game on Monday night when he performed a brutal tackle from behind on referee Howard Webb.

Ledley King, who arguably would have been the finest defender of his generation had it not been for his rusty garden gate legs giving way so often, was given his Tottenham testimonial in front of a packed house in north London.
King got the biggest cheer of the night, but the second biggest belonged to Lewis Holtby, when he cleared Howard Webb’s clock with a delightfully timed tackle from behind to put the ref on the floor.
Luckily, someone in the crowd managed to capture it on film.
