Reds close in on powerful Brazilian ace.
Liverpool are said to be weighing in on Atletico Madrid full-back Filipe Luis, who has also been a top target for Chelsea, according to Football Direct News.

The Brazilian defender has been in fine-form with Atletico who have surpassed all expectations season, by leading La Liga with one match remaining and reaching the Champions League final.
His performances for the Spanish outfit are said to have attracted the interest of Chelsea, who are looking for a potential replacement to veteran Ashley Cole, who is out of contract in July and has yet to be offered a new deal.
However, Liverpool are also said to be looking for a new left-back after a long term injury has prevented Jose Enrique from featuring this term and an unsuccessful loan spell with Aly Cissokho from Valencia.
And as a result of their bad luck in that position the Reds are now thought to be weighing up a £20m move for the Champions League finalist.
The Reds had initially been linked with a move for Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno, while also showing a tentative interest in Cole too.
