The prolific Uruguay international has just enjoyed a wonderful campaign in front of goal for the Reds, with Suarez managing to find the back of the net on 31 occasions in his 33 Premier League outings for the club, more than any other player in the entire top flight.

And as a result, Suarez was recently voted as the double Footballer of the Year in England, and now Los Blancos are understood to be weighing up whether or not to make a move for the 27-year-old when the summer transfer window reopens for business.

Suarez only recently put pen to paper on a new bumper contract at Liverpool that now runs until June 2018, although there is believed to be a clause in that deal which allows foreign-based suitors to sign the forward for a whopping £70m this summer.
