The Spain Under-20 international has been making all the headlines back in La Liga on the back of a number of eye-catching wing displays for his club, so much so that Vadillo has even now been dubbed “the new Cristiano Ronaldo” as a result of those displays.

And now the north London are hoping to be able to beat the likes of Liverpool and fierce city rivals Arsenal to the 19-year-old’s signature by making an early move for Vadillo, with the flyer understood to be valued at around the £8m mark by his club.

Vadillo has so far managed to register one goal and two assists in total in his 27 matches in all competitions for Betis, including two assists in his 21 Liga outings for the club.

However, with the player contracted to the Southern Spanish side until June 2016, Spurs will not find it easy to be able to lure Vadillo to White Hart Lane.
