The giant Belgium international has just completed a highly successful season-long loan spell with Everton in which Lukaku managed to record an impressive 15 goals and eight assists in total in his 33 Premier League outings for the Merseyside giants.

And now with Lukaku having since returned to his parent club in west London, the Blues want to extend the 21-year-old’s stay at the club, with the striker’s curent deal in the capital running until June 2016.

Chelsea bought Lukaku from Belgium side Anderlecht back in the summer of 2011 for a fee of £18m and now the club intend to loan the player out once again to a Premier League rival next season, most likely the Toffees once again, in order to inflate the forward’s value in the transfer market, before then offloading the youngster next year.

However, it is understood that the Blues will not consider selling Lukaku for less than £20m.
