The highly rated Spaniard has just enjoyed a brilliant campaign in goal for the Red Devils, so much so that De Gea was recently even voted as the club’s Player of the Season.

And now as a reward for the shot stopper’s outstanding displays for the Premier League giants last time out, United bosses intend to hand De Gea a two-year contract extension on the 23-year-old’s current deal which runs out at Old Trafford in June 2016, with the keeper also set to receive a raise in his present salary from £52,000 per week up to £85,000 per week at the Theatre of Dreams next season.
