Romanian giant linked with move to the Emirates Stadium.

Check in to England vs Italy

Arsenal will look to bring in Man City custodian Costel Pantilimon to act as back-up to first choice keeper Wojciech Szczesny according to the Metro.

The Romanian international is out of contract this summer and may well jump at the chance or remaining in the Premier League whilst Arsene Wenger looks to replace exit bound Pole Lukasz Fabianski.

The 27 year old was a solid enough performer over the course of the past three seasons but has turned down the offer of a new deal, perhaps well aware that Manuel Pellegrini has renewed faith in Joe Hart, with the England man being dropped for a portion of last term before he found his form once again.

The 6’8? has made 29 appearances for Man City since his move to the Etihad Stadium back in August 2011 and has collected 15 clean sheets in the process.

As well as seeing Fabianski leaving in the summer loaned in Italian Emiliano Viviano will move back to Fiorentina following his seemingly pointless spell at the north London club.
