Twenty-seven-year-old is contracted to the Spanish capital until 2017.
The agent of highly rated Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan has revealed that his client has been the subject of an offer from an as yet unnamed Premier League club for his services next season, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.
The Turkey international has just enjoyed a fine campaign on the wings for the recently crowned La Liga champions, with Arda having managed to register an impressive nine goals and six assists in total in his 46 matches in all competitions for Atleti, including three strikes and four assists in his 30 Spanish top-flight outings.
However, despite those eye-catching attacking numbers, the player could now be heading for the exit door at the Vicente Calderon this summer according to Arda’s representative.
“Arda is currently playing at a big club with big ambitions. He wants to be part of that success, but we must wait and see what happens,” said Ahmet Bulut in Voetbal Primeur.
“An offer from an English club has arrived.
“As in every transfer, two parties, the player and the club, they must make a decision.”
And while the exact identity of who the mystery Premier League club is, reports are claiming that it could be from top-flight giants Manchester United.
